Frequently Asked Questions
Everything we're hearing most often, answered in one place. Tap a question to expand it.
Are you affiliated with any existing Jewish day school?
No.
Yeshiva High School Project is not affiliated with any current Jewish day school in the area. We're being built from the ground up by our own founding community.
Is this a co-ed school?
Yes.
Yeshiva High School Project is working to build a co-ed high school, with boys and girls learning side by side in the same classrooms, in a culture built on mutual respect.
How was this idea decided on? Is there real interest in the community?
This school came directly out of conversations with our community, and a poll we ran in June 2026 confirmed it. Of the 143 families who responded, 95% expressed support for the idea, and 71% said they would consider it for their own children.
When is Yeshiva High School Project opening a school?
We're targeting an opening within the next 2–3 years. We'll share more specific updates as we make progress.
What is the school's religious orientation?
Yeshiva High School Project is building a co-ed, Modern Orthodox high school. Our conversations and surveys with the community will inform the specifics within that framework.
Who is leading the school?
Yeshiva High School Project is currently being architected by Barbara Rubin (Chief Academic Architect) and Dr. Drorit Beckman (Chief Operations Strategist). Right now, we're in Phase 1 — the listening and information-gathering phase. During this time, we're inviting parents, educators, and community members to help shape the school's foundation through surveys, working sessions, and open conversations.
Formal school leadership, including the founding board, Mashgiach Ruchani, and other key roles, has not yet been finalized. We are deliberately building those decisions after we've heard from the community, not before.
How can I get involved before the school opens?
The best way to get involved right now is to fill out our Join Us and Get Involved form. From there, we'll periodically share specific ways to get more involved, such as joining the conversation, volunteer opportunities, or ways to support us.
How do I apply or get on a list for admissions?
We're not yet accepting formal applications, but we're gathering expressions of interest now. Families who submit Join Us and Get Involved or Receive Updates forms will be the first to know when applications open.
